The mountains Makalu, and Kanchenjunga, are located in the eastern part of Nepal. The Arun valley and an eastern route to Everest are also located in this part of the country. In this part of the eastern area of Nepal, there is an endless variety of landscapes to discover, and camping is essential. There is evidence of the majority of the world’s cultural traditions. And there are a great number of quaint little towns. This region consists not only of rice-growing areas that are subject to high temperatures. But also contains a region known as Ilam which is known for its more temperate tea-growing climate. There is a high population density in the Middle hills. And Those are cut in half by the formidable Arun Koshi river. On either bank of the Arun Kosi, one can look across the river and view the massive peaks of Kanchenjunga and Makalu.
In addition, this area is home to high mountain passes. As well as some of the world’s most breathtaking mountain scenery, and the wild peak Makalu. The mountain known as Makalu is the third highest peak in the world. In addition to the sixteen distinct varieties of rhododendrons, there is also a picturesque village, an astounding display of wildflowers, an abundance of wildlife, and, of course, friendly locals.
