Acclimatization and Preparation Before starting the climb, we will spend some time in Kathmandu for sightseeing and to obtain the necessary climbing permits. We will also have a briefing session about the expedition and what to expect during the climb. It’s important to have proper acclimatization before starting the climb, and we’ll spend a few days in the villages around the base camp to adjust to the high altitude and prepare for the climb.

Climbing Saribung Peak The climb starts from the Saribung base camp after a day of trekking from the last village. We will set up a high camp on the way to the summit and use this camp for the summit push. The climb involves crossing snow and ice slopes, and some technical sections that require the use of ropes and other climbing equipment. The climb is not technically difficult, but it requires good physical fitness and endurance.
