Day to day schedule to India: 21d Roaring Rajasthan Motorbiking

Day 1:

Arrival in Delhi

Our local agent will meet you on arrival at the International airport in Delhi and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in a hotel

Day 2:

Delhi-Agra (250 Km/6 hrs)

After a briefing on the motorcycles and the peculiarities of the traffic in India we drive in 6 hours to Agra. Agra is home to possible the most famous and beautiful buildings in the world: the Taj Mahal, built in the 17th century as a tomb and memorial. We check in at the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing. We will see the famous Red Fort, the capital of the Moghul empire in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Taj Mahal, Etmad-Ul-Ah, Sikandra and typical handicraft. Overnight in a hotel

Agra-Jaipur (251 km/6 hrs)

Today after breakfast we have another long but impressive motorbike trail to the famous city of Jaipur. During our drive we visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of King Akbarand and the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, one of the finest bird parks in the world.

Day Day 4:

Jaipur

Today we take our time for a sightseeing tour around Jaipur. After breakfast, we proceed to the Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur. You can take a jeep ride or by elephant up the steep path which leads to a magnificent complex of palaces, halls, pavillions, gardens and temples built over a period of 125 years by successive rulers. Also we visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, the ‘palace of the winds’, Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory created by an astronomer-king in the 18th century to measure everything from altitude to time and map the movement of the planet and the stars, the statue circle and Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.

Jaipur- Ranthambore (180 km/5 hrs.)

Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks in northern India. It is situated in Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 180 km from Jaipur. The afternoon is at leisure where you can walk around the national park. Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. Tigers can be easily spotted even during the day time.

Day 6:

Ranthambore

Today we stay and have all day activities in Ranthambhore.We will take a jeep drive in the park for exploring the wildlife. Overnight in a hotel

Day 7:

Ranthambore-Kota (140 km/3 hrs.)

After breakfast we have another jeep safari for a few hours in the national park. After we are back on our motorscycles again and drive to Kota, a city situated on the banks of Chambal River, the city is the trade centre for an area in which millet, wheat, Rice,Pulses, coriander and oilseeds are grown.

Day 8:

Kota-Bund -Chittaurgarh

During our trial today we visit the Fort, lakes and temples in Bundi. It is of particular architectural note for its ornate forts, palaces, and stepwell reservoirs known as baoris. After our visit in Bundi we drive to Chittaurgarh

Day Day 9:

Chittaurgarh -Udaipur

After breakfast, we first will visit the famous Chitaurgarh Fort, seated on a 180 metres hill, which covers an expanse of 700 acres. It was constructed by the Mauryans in the 7th century AD. Also we see and the Haldi Ghati. After that we continue our drive to Udaipur.

Day 10:

Sightseeing around in Udaipur

Udaipur also known as the City of Lakes. Apart from its history, culture and scenic location, it is also known for its Rajput-era palaces. The Lake Palace, for instance, covers an entire island in the Pichola Lake. Many of the palaces have been converted into luxury hotels. It is often called the “Venice of the East”. Here the James Bond film ‘Octopussy’ was made on original locations. After breakfast, there is a city sightseeing and the visiting of Fateh Sagar Lake, furthermore a boat ride in the lake, seeing the Taj Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Sahelion Ki Bari, the major garden

Udaipur-Kumbhalgarh (100 km/2 hrs.)

After breakfast, we drive to Kumbhalgarh and visit the Fort, built on a hilltop 1100 metres in altitude. Kumbhalgarh fort has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres in length, erroneously claimed to be the longest in the world after the ‘Great Wall of China’.

Kumbhalgarh-Jodhpur (150 km/4 hrs.)

Jodhpur Beschrijving: About this sound is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The city is known as the Sun City for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year. It is also referred to as the Blue City due to the blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. After breakfast we visit the Kumbalgarh village then drive continue to Jodhpur visit Mehrangarh Fort, whichlies in the heart of the old city of Jodhpur and is located atop a 125 m high hill. The magnificent Mehrangarh Fort (Jodhpur ka kila) is the most majestic and one of the largest forts in India. Also we visit Jaswat Thanda and Umaid Bhawan Palace.

Day 13:

Sightseeing around in Jodhpur

In the morning we go for a village safari with the jeep and have a rare glimpse into the rich culture and true essence of India. Abundant wildlife and memorable moments of the great desert landscape fascinates one while driving along the countryside. Overnight in a hotel

Jodhpur-Pokhran (186 km/4hrs)

After breakfast proceeds to Pokhram, a remote location in the Thar Desert region where we bike to nearby authentic villages. The Thar Desert is a large, arid region in the northwestern part with an area of more than 200,000 km2 (77,000 sq mi); it is the world’s 9th largest subtropical desert. Overnight in a hotel

Day 15:

Okhran-Jaisalmer (110 km/3 hrs.)

After breakfast we drive to Jaisalmer, nicknamed “The Golden City”, where we go for a half day sightseeing tour. The town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. We visit the fort, he oldest living Fort in the world and highlight of the tour. But also we will see Patwon-Ki-Havelies, this ornate five-storey complex took fifty years to complete. This is the largest, the most magnificent, and the most elaborate of Jaisalmer havelis. Next we visit Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli which has a beautifully arched roof capped with blue cupolas and carved brackets in the form of peacocks and Gadhi Sagar Tank.

Jaisalmer-Phalodi (165 km/4hrs)

After breakfast we drive to Phalodi, and visit Phalodi Village also called the “salt city” Overnight in a hotel

Phalodi-Bikaner (170 km/4 hrs.)

After breakfast, we continue with the safari and reach al last Bikaner. Bikaner is situated in the middle of the Thar desert with very little rainfall and extreme temperatures. In summer, temperatures exceed 50 °C and during the winter it dips to freezing point.

Day 18:

Bikaner-Mandawa (140 km/3 hrs.)

After breakfast, visit Lalgarh Palace, Junagarh Fort. This fort was built by Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner who reigned from 1571 to 1612. Also we visit fabulous places like Karni Mata Temple, the Gajner Palace, a camel breeding farm than we drive to the desert city of Mandawa.

Day 19:

Mandawa-Delhi (260 km/5 hrs.)

Mandawa is known for its fort and typical havelis. After breakfast, we visit Mahensar and Dundlod, we meet the local village chief. We see Mandawa Fort & Haveli & then we continue drive back from the far desert to the cosmopolitan sphere in Delhi.

Day 20:

City sightseeing around in Delhi

After breakfast, we visit Jama masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi in India, also the red fort that showcases the very high level of art form and ornamental work, Raj Ghat, is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. We also have time for the Lotus Temple and the India Gate, the India Gate is the national monument of India. Overnight in a hotel

Day 21:

Departure

Transfer to international airport after breakfast, you have a free day to explore the city and finish your last minute shopping. In the late afternoon or late evening we transport you to the brand new terminal at the international airport in Delhi.
