Today, we drive to Pokhara (200km) by tourist bus, approximately 7 hours away. While driving, we will see the countryside’s good scenery. We will arrive late afternoon, around 2:00 p.m. Pokhara is an enchanting Himalayan Valley of remarkable beauty.
We can explore its scenic land on bicycle, on foot, or on our own, like boating in Fewa Lake, which overlooks the Annapurna Himalayan ranges. In the evening, we will prepare for the overnight trek in Pokhara.
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri

Take a short drive from Pokhara to the trek starting point, Nayapul. Then, walk along the Modi stream until you reach Birethanti, a beautiful village with plenty of tea shops and guest houses. We then follow the left route through the town.
Our trek will continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. We climb slightly up to the valley of Hile (1495 meters) and Tikhedhunga (1540 meters). The trail leads steeply up to Ulleri (2000 meters), a large, beautiful Magar village, through the stone slabs. Generally, today’s trek offers you a memorable trekking experience in Nepal.
Ulleri to Ghorepani

On this day, the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields from the village. There are magnificent rhododendrons and oak forests—a lunch spot in Nangethanti.
Thanti is a Nepali word meaning “rest house.” In the winter, snow can cover the trail. From Nangethanti, it is about an hour’s walk to Ghorepani at 2860m. Arrive at the top of the Ghorepani Pass and camp there. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Ghorepani – Poon Hill - Tadapani

We will wake up early morning to hike up to the famed vantage point of Poon Hill excursion at 5 AM. You can hear the sounds of all tourists preparing for the pre-dawn assault on Poon Hill. The journey climb to Poon Hill (3210m.) takes around one and half hours.
As the sun rises, the views are breathtaking. A vast Himalayan panorama stretching from Dhaulagiri, 8167 m (the world’s seventh highest peak), to Manaslu, 8156m (the world’s eighth highest peak) in the east, with the mighty Annapurna range in between them, is visible.
Then we will return to our camp and have time for breakfast. The first part is climbing along the ridges of the hills in pine and rhododendron forest to a top of 3030 meters, then descending to a second pass, also called Deurali. The steep descent becomes a gentle way to reach Banthanti, where we will stop for Lunch.
From Banthanti, the trail follows the stream down to a bridge, where it starts climbing to Tadapani (2630 meters), which offers a brief view of the mountains. Tadapani means “Far water.” The village water supply is a long distance away; it takes porters more than an hour to fetch a load of water. overnigt at Tadapani.
Tadapani - Landruk

It takes about 7 hours. From Tadapani, the trails descend through forests and terraced fields to the Khummr Khola. The Ghandruk trail descends steeply from Tadapani through a forest of tree species and rhododendrons. We will stop for lunch at Ghandruk.
Ghandruk (1919 m.) is the most interesting tribal Gurung village in Nepal, which has provided Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close-up views of Annapurna South, Machhapurchhe, and Himachuli.
There is an ACAP office that provides information about its activities. From Ghandruk, the trails lead down to Modi Khola and climb to Landruk, a Gurung village at 1646 meters. Stay overnight at Landruk.
Landruk - Pokhara

From Landruk, it’s an easy walk on flat fields and descends to Tolka, a small settlement at 1,710 meters, with several lodges along the trails. Now, the trail climbs through the forests, and after crossing a stream on a suspension bridge at 1690 meters, the trail climbs Bheri Kharka.
Again, the trail ascends through forests to a clearing at the top of the hill at 2010 meters, offering views of mountains visible from Deurli and providing a spot for lunch. From Deurali, the road is downhill to Dhampus at 1580 meters, about two and a half hours via Pothana.
At Dhampus, you will receive great views of the mountains. From Dhampus, steeply downhill through the village to Phedi at 1080 meters, it takes about an hours to catch a vehicle to drive to Pokhara.
Pokhara - Kathmandu

From Pokhara, the tourist buses leave early in the morning to Kathmandu. It takes 6/7 hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Still, you will have time to walk around Kathnaudu or go shopping.
