Day to day schedule to Nepal: 14d Pikey Peak Trekking

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel . +D

    On your arrival, Himalayan Leaders will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. After some refreshment, we will invite you for Nepali dinner.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu o/n in Hotel +B

    After breakfast, sightseeing visit, in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple.

  • Day 03: Drive to Shivalaya (210km, 1770m, 7/9hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast we drive to Shivalaya. Enroute we will see more of the countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful Snow capped mountain sceneries. The village is situated in a subtropical environment along the bank of Shivalaya river.

  • Day 04: Trek to Bhandar (2190m, 5/6hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast we trek to Bhandar, our trial climbs up through the scattered village and brings us to Deurali. From here we trek downhill to Bhandar. On reaching Bhandar, we explore around the Sherpa village centred by Buddhist Stupas and a small monastery.

  • Day 05: Trek to Chaula Kharka(1460m, 6/7hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day we trek along the Likhu Khola and after crossing the river our trail climb to Chaula Kharka through a pine and rhododendron forest. This day in Chaula Kharka we stay in a simple lodge (Homestay).

  • Day 06: Trek to Pikey Base Camp (3640m, 7/8hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast our trial starts through a dense forest of rhododendron to the Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m). On the way, we visit some small Buddhist stupas and Monastery. On reaching Pikey peak you can explore around there is one small cheese farm also where you can visit and buy the yak cheese. Overnight stay in a simple lodge or Homestay.

  • Day 07: Hike to Pikey peak (4067m) and back to base camp (5hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    Early morning we hike to Pikey peak (4070m) for beautiful sunrise view above the Himalaya. One can enjoy the magnificent view of Kanchenjunga in the east to chain of Annapurna in the west. Between them you can see the dazzling view of Everest and whole series of other white tops. Then after spending some time in the top we trek back to base camp. Overnight in basic lodge or Homestay.

  • Day 08: Trek to Lamjura la (3530m, 7hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast we trek to Lamjura Danda to the north. This day our trial cross the Jasmane Bhanjyang (3549m) and small hot spring. There are almost no villages and houses along the way. At most, we pass some tea shops with enjoying beautiful views. Spend the night in a simple lodge at the foot of Lamjura La (3530m).

  • Day 09: Trek to Junbesi (2700m, 6hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day we trek with the beautiful views of many local villages surrounded by fields till to the beautiful village of Junbesi. On the way, we have beautiful views of White Himalayas of the Khumbu region and also get chance to visit some small monastery.

  • Day 10: Sightseeing around Junbesi, visit monastery, explore local culture o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day we explore around the surrounding area. We visit the monasteries and hike up to Thuptenchholing gompa.

  • Day 11: Trek to Phaplu (2469m, 5hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast we trek to Phaplu, the modest airport.

  • Day 12: Flight to Kathmandu o/n in Hotel +B

    Morning fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Evening free to explore around.

  • Day 13: Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and patan o/n in hotel +B

    Bhaktapur and Patan are different ancient and historical cities of Kathmandu valley, It is regarded as the abode of traditional Nepali culture, custom and unique arts of wooden and potteries. The historical monument on around signifies medieval age culture and tradition of Nepal and this old city is inhabited by indigenous Newari people in large group.

  • Day 14: Departure +B

    After your breakfast we transfer you to the international airport for your onward destination.
