Day to day schedule to Nepal: 14d Pikey Peak Trekking

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m / 4,430ft)

    On your arrival our representative will greet & warmly receive you and assist you to transfer to the hotel. After having some refreshment,we will meet in the office and briefly discuss the last-minute specifics of the trek and have a Nepali dinner. In evening time you can explore around Thamel area by ourself.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

    After breakfast, we will start sightseeing tours around Kathmandu Valley. The sightseeing program is all about introducing some highlights and UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu such as Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Bouddhanath.

  • Day 03: Drive to Shivalaya (1790m/ 5,873 ft)

    Driving Hours: 8-9 hours
    Driving Distance: 200 km /124 miles
    Maximum Altitude: 1790m/ 5873 ft

    This day after breakfast we drive to Shivalaya. Enroute we will see the beauty of the countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful Snow capped mountain sceneries. The village is situated in a subtropical environment along the bank of Shivalaya river. After cross many village we will reached to Shivalaya where we stay for tonight.

  • Day 04: Trek to Bhandar (2190m/ 7,185 ft)

    Trek Distance: 18 km / 11.2 miles
    Trek Hours: 7-8 hours
    Maximum Altitude: 2190m/ 7,185 ft

    This day after breakfast, we start our trek to Bhandar. Our trial will go uphill through the scattered village until we reached to Deurali. Then, we trek downhill towards Bhandar. When we arrived at Bhandar, we spend some time exploring the Sherpa village, which was surrounded by Buddhist Stupas and a small monastery.

  • Day 05: Trek to Chaula Kharka(1460m/4790 ft )

    Trek Distance: 8.5 km/ 5.3 miles
    Trek Hours: 4 hours
    Maximum Altitude: 1460m/ 4790 ft

    On this day after breakfast, we will begin our trek along the Likhu Khola. Once we cross the river, our path will lead us to climb up to Chaula Kharka through a forest which is filled with pine trees and beautiful rhododendron flowers. When we reach Chaula Kharka, we will stay overnight in a basic lodge, which is also a homestay.

  • Day 06: Trek to Pikey Base Camp (3640m, 7/8hrs) o/n in Lodge +B+L+D

    This day after breakfast our trial starts through a dense forest of rhododendron to the Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m). On the way, we visit some small Buddhist stupas and Monastery. On reaching Pikey peak you can explore around there is one small cheese farm also where you can visit and buy the yak cheese. Overnight stay in a simple lodge or Homestay.

  • Day 07: Hike to Pikey peak (4067m/ 13,372 ft) and back to base camp

    Trek Distance: 7 km /4.3 miles
    Trek Hours: 5 hours
    Maximum Altitude: 4,076m/ 13,372 ft

    In the early morning, we will hike to Pikey Peak, which has the altitude of 4067m or 13,372 ft. On this trail, we can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the majestic Himalayan mountain range. From the top of Pikey Peak, you will be witnessed of an incredible panoramic view that extends from the magnificent Kanchenjunga in the east to the Annapurna mountain range in the west. In between, you will be able to see the dazzling view of Mount Everest and a series of other snow-covered peaks. After spending some time taking in the beauty of the surroundings, we will trek back to the base camp. Overnight in basic lodge or Homestay.

  • Day 08: Trek to Lamjura la (3530m/ 11581 ft)

    Trek Distance: 9.9 km/ 6.15miles
    Trek Hours: 7 hours
    Maximum Altitude: 3,530m/ 11581ft

    After having breakfast, we will start our trek towards Lamjura Danda, which is located to the north of our current location. During this trek, our trail will take us across Jasmane Bhanjyang and we will also come across a small hot spring. On the way, we will not see many villages or houses. At most, we might pass by some tea shops where we can take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surroundings. As the day comes to an end, we will spend the night in a simple lodge located at the foot of Lamjura La, which is at an altitude of 3530m or 11,581 ft.

  • Day 09: Trek to Junbesi (2700m, 8858 ft)

    Trek Distance: 8 km/ 4.9 km
    Trek Hours: 5-6 hrs
    Maximum Altitude: 2700m/ 8858 ft

    On this day, we will trek with the stunning views of the local villages surrounded by lush fields. We will continue walking until we reach the picturesque village of Junbesi. Throughout the trek, we can get benefited by the magnificent views of the majestic White Himalayas that belong to the Khumbu region. On the way, we will also get chance to visit some small monasteries, where we can explore ourselves in the spiritual and cultural atmosphere of the area. The combination of breathtaking scenery and cultural exploration will make this trek truly memorable.

  • Day 10: Sightseeing around Junbesi, visit monastery, explore local culture

    After breakfast, we will explore the beautiful view around the surroundings of the area. On this day, we will visit the monasteries, where we can see their unique architecture and experience the peaceful atmosphere. Also we will hike up to Thuptenchholing Gompa. This is a monastery located in the higher reaches of the region which provide the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings and enjoy panoramic views. It can be the most rewarding experience to explore the serene environment and the cultural significance of the gompa.

  • Day 11: Trek to Phaplu (2469m, 8100 ft)

    Trek Distance: 10 km/6.8 ft
    Trek Hours: 5 hrs
    Maximum Altitude: 2469 m/ 8100 ft

    After breakfast, we will trek towards Phaplu. We will walk through the scenic trails, taking in the beautiful views of the Himalayas along the way. Overnight in the lodge.

  • Day 12: Flight to Kathmandu(1350m / 4,430ft)

    Flight hours: 35 minutes

    After morning breakfast, we take flight back to Kathmandu. During this 35-minute flight, we will be enjoy with the amazing and brathtaking Himalayan view from above. Once we arrive at the airport, we will be transferred to our hotel. After refreshment, you can free to explore the city and its surroundings at our own. You can visit local attractions, wander through the bustling streets, local cuisine, or simply relax and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Kathmandu.

  • Day 13: Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Patan

    Today after breakfast, we will start our sightseeing around Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square. Bhaktapur and Patan are different ancient and historical cities of Kathmandu valley. It is regarded as the abode of traditional Nepali culture, custom and unique arts of wooden and potteries. The historical monument on around signifies medieval age culture and tradition of Nepal and this old city is inhabited by indigenous Newari people in large group.

  • Day 14: Departure

    After your breakfast we will assist in transferring you to the international airport three hours before your flight schedule for your onward destination.
