 Himalayan leaders always search for a different new route with a single jeep track. And found Kathmandu – Lhasa expedition region through an alternative route. Firstly, it offers amazing cultural palaces of the Dalai Lama in Lhasa. And then after further via the famous Lake of Tibet (Namtso Lake), and Yambajing via Nagenla pass. Similarly, the route goes through Everest base camp with a great panorama of the high range of Himalayas over 7000m.

So, instate of that they recently opened a new border of Nepal and China for the foreigner Named the Gyroing Border. Day to day schedule to Tibet: 28d Lhasa Mt.EBC-KTM Mountain Bike Tour

  • Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel, after refreshment we will invite for traditional Nepali diner o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 3: Flight to Lhasa and transfer to hotel (3600m) o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 4: Sightseeing with jeep or cycle (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Sera monastery) of Lhasa (3600m) o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 5: Sightseeing (Potala Palace, Norbulingkha) of Lhasa (3600m) o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 6 Optie extra dag : Lhasa - Tsupu Monastery-Lhasa we drive Tsupu by bus, 65 Km and Bike ride back to Lhasa, it is off road cross valley, river, and visit Famous Tsupu Monastery....ride about 5-6 hours o/n in hotel. OR cycle around in Namtso

  • Day 7: Drive to Namtso Lake (4700m, 6hrs) o/n in camp,

  • Day 8: Cycle to Dangxung (75Kms, 4300m, 7hrs) o/n in camp,

  • Day 9: Cycle to Yambajing via Nagenla pass (Paved road, 85 km, 8hrs) in camp,

  • Day 10 Cycle to Shogula (Off road, 5100m, 60km, 9hrs) o/n in camp,

  • Day 11 Cycle to Majiang via Dongula pass (Off road, 70km, 9hrs) (4960m) o/n in tent,

  • Day 12: Cycle to Dachuka (Off-road, 60km, 7hrs) o/n in camp,

  • Day 13: Cycle to Shigatse (Mixed, 90km, 6hrs) o/n in hotel,

  • Day 14: Cycle to Geding (Mixed, 80 Km, 6hrs, 3900m) o/n in camp,

  • Day 19: Cycle to Rongbuk (5200m) & Everest Base Camp (Off-road, 65km, 7/8hrs) o/n in camp,

  • Day 20: Rest day at the monastery and enjoy the Tibetan Buddhism. Or just relax. Or do some biking around Rongbuk o/n in camp,

  • Day 21: Cycle to Lo Tingri (Off-road, 100km, 9hrs) o/n in guesthouse,

  • Day 22: Cycle to Lalungla Pass (Off road, 70Km, 8 hrs, 5100m) o/n in camp,

  • Day 23: Cycle to Nylam (Off road, 80km, 7/8hrs, 3800m) o/n in camp,

  • Day 24: Cycle to Last resort via Kodari border (1550m, 70km) o/n in tent,

  • Day 25: Cycle to Dhulikhel, (60km ) o/n in resort.

  • Day 26: Cycle to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 27: Free day for shopping in Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel,

  • Day 28: Transfer to airport for fly back to home.
